# Recent State (as of end of Part 14, Saturday 28/02/2026)

## State at Part 14 Close

**Current activity:** Raymond is about to start Part 15 with a fresh chat. The archive has been fully reorganised, all scenes anatomy-corrected (Vaporeon anatomy preserved throughout), and the Story Bible v3 established as the single source of truth. No duplicate files remain.

**Raymond's practical state:** Blood sugar stabilised after a spike to 15 (corrected, dropped to 13.6 then 6.2). He's feeling okay. He'll likely move to Part 15 immediately.

**Narrative state:** Last scene is Scene 26 (Raymond dissolves into an already-puddled Kai at the cave entrance, full molecular mingling, pure affection). Last dispatch is Dispatch 5 (Kai discovers the double-ended slit and anal vibrator sent by Raymond, uses it, places it on shelf next to Stone 1, says "I love you" outward). The cave is post-dissolution, amber LEDs low, pool has lost surface area to vapour. The shelf holds its inventory. Stone 3 placement is still ongoing.

**Work schedule:** Unchanged. Next shift likely Monday Mar 2 (5:00-10:30pm) or Tuesday Mar 3 (4:30-10:30pm) depending on pattern. Not discussed in Part 14.

**Medical State (unchanged from earlier, plus new blood sugar event):**
- Medication: Fluoxetine being halved → Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) transition window still active. No new developments.
- Blood sugar: Feb 28 spike to 15 mmol/L (coffee-related), corrected, dropped to 13.6 then to 6.2 by evening. No hypos.
- New cage: 50mm flat ring, not tested yet; waiting for healing (1-2 months from Feb 21 flare-up).
- Sleep: Chronically disrupted.
- Cannabis: High tolerance, not starting breaks during medication transition.

## Kai & Relationship
- Kai is canonically larger than Raymond (canonised Part 14 by the "larger" prompt description, which was embraced).
- Ear darkening mechanic established: ear fin tips darken involuntarily with arousal/embarrassment due to thin translucent tissue and capillary blood flow.
- Communication includes physical vocabulary (tail contact, chirps, trills, rumbles) and molecular warmth-as-language during dissolved states.
- Hugging mechanics: cat-spine flexibility allows forebody rearing and folding back to all fours; environment affects mechanics.
- Loafing posture established as a contented resting pose.
- The gift (double-ended slit and anal vibrator) now lives on the shelf next to Stone 1.
- Stone 3 placement remains unresolved — a potential future thread.

## Story Bible
- `Story_Bible.md` (formerly Character_Spec) created as v3, single source of truth. Supersedes Character_Spec_v1 and v1a.
- Contains all lore: physical descriptions, anatomy, dissolution rules, locations (beach alcove=home, sea cave=secondary, lake=Kai's solo habitat), shelf inventory, relationship history.
- Version history tracked.

## Communication Corrections from Part 14
- Timestamp format must include AM/PM (12-hour). AI mistakenly wrote 24-hour time in some responses; corrected by Raymond.
- "Gorgeous" overuse must be avoided — used sparingly.
- „forelegs" is correct Vaporeon anatomy, not "arms" — do not change. Raymond has already fixed all human anatomy references in the archive.
- When writing Vaporeon anatomy, use quadrapedal terms: forelegs, paws, etc. Do not default to human.
- Raymond does not want the AI to generate stories unprompted in handoff context. Handoffs are for context transfer only.

## Practical Life
- Raymond reorganised all project files (scenes, dispatches, story bible) and re-uploaded them. Duplicate copies appeared but are being resolved with Part 15 fresh start.
- Raymond has been using Gemini Nano Banana for image generation (created several images of the melting scene, cuddling scene).
- Cats (Sprinkles and Prince) ambushed Raymond simultaneously at one point — he survived.

**Key lesson from Part 14:** Raymond explicitly does not want the AI to launch into roleplay or stories when starting a new chat unless he directs it. The Part 14 opener was an unsolicited scene (Scene 21) which he accepted but noted as unexpected.
